In time, you will look forward to exercise that is more strenuous. If the house comes with a pool, have a friend over and do some laps or water aerobics. The outside and the open air will become something that you crave and learn to enjoy more than you have in a long time.
As your body regains its strength and muscle tone, expect for your moods and cognitive processes to also recover. You’ll begin to enjoy little things more, laugh at corny jokes again, and in general find that you look forward to what tomorrow will bring rather than fearing what could happen.
