Discrimination

Discrimination is defined as: “The practice of unfairly treating a person or group of people differently from other people or groups of people.” In reality, this unfair treatment ranges from simple exclusion, to horrible acts of violence. Discrimination typically targets an individual or group seen as different in some way. The differences singled out can include almost anything, including: age, gender, sexual preference, race, national origin, religion, and more.
